Skype session

 

 

 Today we had a Skype session again. Bella is lovely. She brings her Sheltie toy when she sees me, as I have a similar dog and so we can share our interest. Today I showed her how to groom dogs.  Then we sang together "Itsy bitsy spider" into Finnish and she can do all the hand gestures. I took some pictures via Skype so quality is not good, but here Bella is looking at us, considering whether it is a good idea to touch the lamp and waving us goodbye. She has her own language as mum and dad have theirs too.

Isabella has a new friend whose mum is also a Finn and they live almost across the street. Here they are in the nearby park.

Ninnu, Bella and Ross moved now to San Francisco due to Ross' new job. They stay first in a hotel while looking for a new home.

Visiting Finland!

Ninnu and Bella came to pay us a visit between August 25th and September 5th. I got to babysit Bella almost daily and enjoyed every minute of it, she is such a wonderful happy child! Here some pictures from their visit.

Bella's godfather Robert Carrington visited LA and they took a trip to Santa Cruz islands

Bella can

Bella can say a few words like "kiikoo" = kiitos = thank you and "eii"= no.  She can give kisses and claps her hands when she succeeds. She can easily solve a three piece sorting box (round, square and triangle slots).

Bella is the sweetest! She mimics gestures and expressions, plays music and dances to it. She is also determined to teach Ninnu her own language and not vice versa: " gugi-gugi"!
