They are gone!

Today I took the little family with their huge luggage to the airport and we had to say teary goodbyes for now. They flew to Split, Croatia, and next week back to LA.  Some last pictures:

 I found from my iPad an email Bella had written to a friend of mine I have never privately mailed:

Last babysitting :´-(

I had Bella over all evening while her parents had dinner out.  We had great fun and it is amazing how much she has developed during these three weeks they have been here.  She has got two brand new teeth, her cordination is excellent, she can clearly say "äiti" (in my opinion ggg), she starts crawling.  And is such a joy to have around, what an easy child, just happy all the time <3

 Tomorrow they will leave Finland and I will cry my eyes off.

Visiting greatgrandmother!

 

On September12 th we went to visit greatgrandmother (Bella's mum's mum's mum).  First we paid a visit to Lea to see her pups.  Lea had made Bella sweet socks!

 And then to Jyväskylä!  What a happy reunion and everyone went crazy over Bella <3 Bella was so happy all the time except once in the car when she protested about having to stay in her safety chair.

 

 

 

 

 

Third babysitting

We had the pleasure to take care of Bella all this evening. Ninnu forgot the cradle so I made a bed for her from bath tub.

  

 

 

 

Isabella's christening

Today Isabella Sylvia was christened.  Noora is her main godmother. The funny thing was that Bella was wearing Noora's christening dress!

The not so funny thing was that I was ill.

Second babysitting

Ninnu and Ross had to take care of their VISA and passport issues, so Bella was here during that time. We took a walk, a nap, changed nappies, drank milk and no problems at all. Bella is just happy whoever is taking care of her and finds great pleasure in everything from watching birch branches in the wind to listening the dog bark. World is full of wonders for a 5 month old.

 "Hello, I am awake! What shall we do next?"

Kicking naked is such fun! She is almost crawling now.

Paukku is sure he is the only one who realises what huge threat this baby presents to humankind and it is his job to prevent it happening as all others seem to be unaware of it. So he either watches from far apart or takes a quick sniff to find out where she keeps her weapons hidden.

Babysitting

We were babysitting Bella while Ninnu and Ross went to movies.  We took a walk and then played.  After a nappy change and a feed Bella slept for two hours and was ready to play and laugh again. We are so blessed to have such a darling grandchild!
